CUB SCOUT PACK 474

Upcoming Events:

April 26= ^th: Pack me= eting at Oakbrook Elementary School. Events to be determined.

May 20th: Chief = Solano District dinner at the Fa= irfield LDS = Church at 6:30 pm. Cost is $12 per person. Contact Helen Cakus f= or more information.

May 22nd: Alcatraz day trip.= Meet at Pier 41 in San Francisco at 12:00 noon sharp. We will be catching the 12:15 pm f= erry to Alcatraz Island, so don’t be late. The Pack will pay $5.00 of the cos= t for your Scout. Bring a lunch and remember to dress warm. Please pre-pay when you sign up. Con= tact Marty Daut for more information.

May 24th: Pack M= eeting at Oakbrook Elementary School. This is the last Pack meeting until September. Please ensure that= all Scouts attend, as this will be the Advancement ceremony. Contact your Den Leaders for more information.

June 5th: Re-scheduled Bald Mountain Hike. Mee= t at Oakbrook School at 07:45am. Contact Marty Daut for more inform= ation.

June 11<= sup>th: BALOO = (Basic Adult Leader Outdoor Orientation) training from 8:30 am-4:30 pm at location TBD. Cost is $15 per person.<= span style=3D'mso-spacerun:yes'> This event is open to all leaders = and interested parents. Deadline = to sign up is June 1^st. Contact Helen Cakus for more information.

Friends of Scouting Update:

Pack 474 was the TOP donator for the Chief Solano District to “Friends of Scouting” (FOS), when they came to our February 22^nd Blue = and Gold Banquet. To date, Pack 4= 74 has donated over $2,000! Not only= are the Scouts and parents helping to make the Pack = grow, they are helping to make the District and National Organization grow too! <= o:p>

Round Table, it’s not just for Pack Chairmen or Cubmasters, it’s for everyone. Useful Scouting information is put out at these meetings and is open to anyone that would l= ike to attend. Meetings are held = the 2^nd Thursday of every month at the United Methodist Church at 7:30pm.

Resident Camp:

We are earmarking the “Halloween Fest” Residence Camp from 28-30 October at Camp Lindblad as the camp that we would= like the majority of Pack 474 to attend. You are more than welcome to go to any and all other dates as well, = if you cannot attend this camp or want to go more frequently. Contact Marty Daut for more inform= ation.
